Wetherell, Mounties Down Easthampton

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Cole Wetherell went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs Monday to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to a 16-6, six-inning win over Easthampton.
 
Jameson Bayliss, Cam Miller and Patrick Holland each had a pair of hits in a 15-hit attack for the Mounties.
 
Jake Newberry had four of the Mounties’ 13 stolen bases and scored three runs.
 
Mount Greylock used three different pitchers. Bayliss earned the win in relief, striking out four and allowing one hit in 2 and a third innings.
 
The Mounties (7-9) host McCann Tech on Wednesday.
