Mount Anthony Baseball Wins at Mount Greylock
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Hunter Sherwin struck out seven and allowed two runs in 5 and a third innings Tuesday to pitch the Mount Anthony Union baseball team to an 8-2 win over Mount Greylock.
The Patriots jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the second inning and led, 8-0, before the Mounties scored two in the bottom of the sixth.
Mason Canata and Jameson Bayliss each had a hit and an RBI for Mount Greylock.
Cade Morrell threw 1 and two third innings of scoreless relief of starter Jesse Thompson.
Mount Greylock (5-11) hosts McCann Tech on Wednesday.
