Mounties Down Northampton

Canata struck out five in 4 and two-thirds innings of work before giving the ball to Rotter, who struck out a pair in finishing out the win.
Canata helped his cause by going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs at the plate.
Jameson Bayliss and Cam Miller each had a pair of hits, and Jesse Thompson doubled in an 11-hit Mount Greylock attack.
"Mason pitched well tonight," Mount Greylock coach Rick Paris said. "He was around the zone all night. Then Emery came in and shut the door to close it out.
"We had great contributions throughout the lineup tonight. Canata helped himself with a couple of hits along with Bayliss. Also Miller and Thompson had timely hits too."
The Mounties (7-12) finish the regular season on Thursday at home against Holyoke.
