Bissaillon Leads Monument Mountain Baseball in Season-Opening Rout

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – Cole Bissaillon went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs Tuesday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 12-0, season-opening win over Easthampton.
 
Jayder Raifstanger and Camden Raifstanger each doubled, and Peter Free drove in three runs in an 11-hit Spartans attack.
 
Starting pitcher Arthur Labrie worked four innings of one-hit ball to earn the win. Labrie, Owen Wade and Collin Parker combined to strike out eight.
 
Monument Mountain (1-0) hosts Greenfield on Friday.
