Buffoni Leads Monument Baseball Past Ludlow

LUDLOW, Mass. – Marco Buffoni went 2-for-3 at the plate and earned the win on the mound Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 15-5 win over Ludlow.
 
Buffoni struck out six and allowed just one earned run in four innings of work in a game that ended after five.
 
Peter Free threw a 1-2-3 fifth inning to close the game out.
 
Buffoni and Camden Raifstanger each drove in three runs. Braxton Crandall went 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs in a 15-hit Monument Mountain attack.
 
The Spartans (7-0) host Granby on Friday.
