Codey, Generals Blank Westfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield’s Jason Codey scattered four hits in a 10-0, five-inning win over Westfield Tuesday at Buddy Pellerin FIeld.

 

Codey struck out a pair and walked two in the complete-game shutout.

 

He also helped his cause by going 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs at the plate.

 

Jack Reed was 2-for-2, and Jackson Almeida was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in an eight-hit attack for the Generals.

 

Pittsfield (7-1) is at Taconic on Thursday.
