Sixth-Inning Rally Lifts Northampton Baseball over Pittsfield

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Trey Rios doubled in a run in a two-run sixth as the Northampton baseball team Friday overcame a one-run deficit and earned a 5-4 win over Pittsfield.
 
Chase Racine went 2-for-3 for Pittsfield. Walker Abdallah was 1-for-1 with a run scored and an RBI.
 
Cam Sime, Collin Merwin and Kaleb Contini split time on the mound, combining for six strikeouts.
 
Pittsfield (1-4) is scheduled to face Wahconah on Saturday afternoon at Pine Grove Park.
