Lavinio, Generals Blank Holyoke

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Connor Lavinio threw a two-hitter, and Chase Racine homered Tuesday as the Pittsfield baseball team defeated Holyoke, 6-0.

 

Lavinio struck out six and walked two in the complete-game win.

 

Racine was 2-for-2 at the plate with the homer and a pair of RBIs.

 

Cam Sime and Will Kinne also had two hits apiece.

 

Pittsfield (7-7) goes to Pope Francis on Friday.
