Pittsfield Baseball Stopped in Round of 16

ARLINGTON, Mass. -- Chris Klein went 2-for-4 with a triple and a double Friday to lead the Arlington Catholic baseball team to a 6-1 win over Pittsfield in the Division 3 State Tournament Sweet 16.
 
Tyler Nelson and Andrew Christopher combined on the hill to scatter eight hits for the Cougars.
 
Chase Racine had three of those hits, including a double. Nick Brindle went 2-for-3.
 
Walker Abdallah drove in a run for the Generals.
 
Connor Lavinio and Patrick Rindfuss split time on the hill for Pittsfield, which finishes the season with a record of 13-10.
