Nicotra Leads Lenox Past Franklin Tech

LENOX, Mass. – Zack Nicotra went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and three RBIs Thursday to lead the Lenox baseball team to a 10-6 win over Franklin Tech in the Millionaires’ regular season finale.
 
Blake Hoff was 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Jack Hicks doubled and drove in a run in a nine-hit attack for Lenox (9-10).
 
Seamus Cooney and David Kirchner split time on the mound for Lenox.
 
Cooney struck out eight and allowed four runs in 5 and one-third innings of work. Kirchner finished up, allowing two runs in 1 and two-thirds innings.
 
Lenox waits to hear who it will play in the first round of next week’s State Tournament.
