Lenox Baseball Blanks Smith Academy

HATFIELD, Mass. – Jason Sibley and Zack Nicotra combined to scatter seven hits Wednesday in pitching the Lenox baseball team past Smith Academy, 8-0.

 

Sibley struck out five and gave up five hits in six innings of work. Nicotra pitched a scoreless seventh to end the game.

 

Brendan Albert led Lenox’s offense, going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.

 

Jared Senzel and Sibley each drove in a pair of runs for Lenox, which made the most of its eight hits.

 

Lenox (8-5) hosts Mount Everett on Thursday.
