Athol Baseball Gets Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – Logan Cormier went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles Wednesday to lead the Athol baseball team to a 10-4 win over Lenox in the Western Massachusetts Class C Quarter-Finals.

 

Jack Hicks doubled and drove in three runs for Lenox, which collected three hits against three different Athol pitchers.

 

Fifth-seeded Athol advances to face No. 1 Drury, a 2-1 winner over McCann Tech on Wednesday.

 

Lenox will finish the regular season against an opponent to be named.
