Georgetown Baseball Edges Lenox in D5 Tourney

GEORGETOWN, Mass. – Ty Southall went six innings, striking out six on Sunday to lead the 16th-seeded Georgetown baseball team to a 3-1 win over Lenox in the Division 5 State Tournament.
 
Georgetown broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the bottom of the fourth and held on for the win.
 
Jason Sibley scored that run for the Millionaires. He went 1-for-1 at the plate. Zack Nicotra doubled in a five-hit attack for Lenox.
 
Seamus Cooney and Mason Daley split time on the mound for Lenox, combining to strike out a pair and surrender six hits.
 
Lenox finishes the season with a record of 12-8.
