Butler Leads Lenox in Win at McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Michael Butler struck out eight in a complete-game effort Wednesday as the Lenox baseball team defeated McCann Tech, 5-1, at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Butler walked none and allowed just three hits in the victory.
 
He also helped his cause by scoring three times.
 
Cliff Flynn led the Millionaires’ offense, going 2-for-4 with a double. Zack Nicotra was 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs.
 
Josh Livsey doubled and drove in a run for the Hornets. He also threw four innings of one-run relief, striking out eight and walking a pair.
 
McCann Tech (8-6) plays Drury at Joe Wolfe on Thursday.
 
Lenox (7-7) takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday’s home game against Mount Everett.
