Knapp Scores Five as Hornets Top Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Jason Knapp scored five goals, and Rylie Fortini made nine saves Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to an 11-3 win over Pittsfield.

 

Lucan McGrath had a hat trick, and Sam McGrath scored a pair of goals in the win.

 

Hunter Christman and Ashtin Magner split time in goal for Pittsfield, combining for 12 saves.

 

The Generals got goals from Cam Bencivenga, Patrick Manning and Geoff Pensivy.

 

Pittsfield (3-7) goes to Lenox on Wednesday.

 

McCann Tech (6-3) is at Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
