Mount Anthony Boys Lacrosse Tops Wahconah

BENNINGTON, Vt. -- The Mount Anthony Union boys lacrosse team erased a 5-4 half-time deficit to earn an 11-6 win over Wachonah on Thursday afternoon.

“We started out great but had trouble finishing the game,” Wahconah coach Zachary Sondrini said. “Our goalie, Vinny Orlandi, played amazing and kept the game close. He made tons of Saves from great shooters.”

Orlandi was credited with 16 saves in the loss.

Tom Hendery scored three goals to lead the Patriots.

Connor Washburn had a hat trick and two assists for Wahconah, which also got two goals from Cullen Harrington.

Wahconah (3-2) hosts Taconic on Saturday.
