BELCHERTOWN, Mass. -- Jeremy Girard had a hat trick Tuesday to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to an 11-6 win over Belchertown.

Dart Jaggi and Cullen Harrington each scored a pair of goals, and Vinny Orlandi made nine saves.

"We didn't play our best lacrosse today,” Wahconah coach Zachary Sondrini said. “We had a lot of missed opportunities and bad shot selection. We also didn't finish the game very strong and allowed a team to crawl back in the fourth. It's nice to know we can win even when we're not at our best. But we need to get better at finishing games.”

Wahconah (7-3) hosts Chicopee Comp on Friday.
