Wahconah Tops Pittsfield in Regular Season Finale

DALTON, Mass. – Kesler Anello Monday scored five goals to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 16-3 win over Pittsfield.

 

Richard Rando Jr. had a hat trick, and Giovanni Venable and Anthony Talora each scored twice in the win.

 

Noah Lavante made seven saves to earn the win in goal.

 

“I am proud of how we finished the season,” Wahconah coach Matt Fisher said. “Going 8-9 after going 3-15 is something we will build on. We look forward to what the playoffs throws at us.”

 

Wahconah is in line to face Pope Francis in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B Boys Lacrosse Tournament. Those seedings are scheduled to be announced on Tuesday.
