Chenail Scores Five Goals in Mount Greylock Win

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys lacrosse earned a 16-1 win over Monument Mountain on Thursday.
 
The Mounties held a 15-0 lead at half-time and came out in the third quarter and added one more.
 
Cal Filson had five saves for Greylock before freshman Cole Seaman took over in net and recorded two saves.
 
Mike Basile had the lone goal for Monument in the fourth quarter.
 
For Greylock, Liam Chenail had five goals and two assists. Cole Hughes scored five goals. Michael McCormack scored twice, and Sean McCormack, John Drier, Tom Astleand Zach Harrington scored a goal apiece.
 
Monument goalie Jonah Swotes had 15 saves, and Jack Gibson had two saves.
 
The Mounties (4-0) go to Manchester, Vt., to play Burr & Burton on Saturday. Monument (2-3) hosts Taconic on Tuesday.
