County's Boys Lacrosse Coaches Name All-Stars

Five Mount Greylock Mounties earned first-team all-Berkshire County recognition in boys lacrosse this spring.
 
The county’s coaches released their first- and second-team all league selections this week.
 
Goalie Cal Filson, attack Riley Parker, middie Patrick Storie, defenseman Kyle Bazonski and longstick middie John Pfister each earned first-team honors from Mount Greylock.
 
Pittsfield placed four players on the first team: attack Kevin Quinto, middie Cam Giardina, defenseman Jake Martin and faceoff middie Mason Papirio.
 
Wahconah earned three spots on the first team. Attack Wyatt Schliecher, midfielder Connor Wahsburn and defenseman James Ross each were recognized.
 
Monument Mountain attack Jake Parkinson and middie Connor Parkinson, along with Hoosac Valley defenseman Austin Mendel, rounded out the first team.
 
Second-team selections, by school, included:
 
Hoosac Valley -- Tyler Jayko and Nick Waterman.
 
Monument Mountain -- Joe LaBrasca and Peter Romeo.
 
Mount Greylock -- Thomas Astle, Whit Ellington and Owen Politis.
 
Pittsfield -- Ryan Jacoby, Sean Baruch and Nikolai Pixley.
 
Taconic -- Sal Amaral.
 
Wahconah -- Jeremy Girard, Matt Cedar, Dalton Peck and Mike Fortin.
 
Honorable mention selections included: Hoosac Valley’s Cam Alibozek, Monument’s Ted Michaels, Mount Greylock’s Michael Wellspeak, Pittsfield’s Parker Blessing, Taconic’s Kevin Harris and Wahconah’s Vinny Orlandi.
