Mount Greylock Boys Lacrosse Routs Central

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Hank Easton, Luke Irwin and Brayden Villnave each scored four goals Monday to lead Mount Greylock to a 19-3 win over Springfield Central in the Mounties’ first boys lacrosse game on the new multisport field at the school.
 
Villnave also set up four goals, and Easton had two assists.
 
Brothers Reed and Bryce Olney each scored for the Mounties, Bryce earning his first varsity goal.
 
“Captain Finn Noyes continued to dominate at the long stick mid position with 12 credited ground balls and a goal of his own,” Mount Greylock coach Daniel Collins said. “Captain Dow Young, along with Corey McConnell, combined for 14 of 20 faceoffs.”
 
Oden Wojtkowski stopped seven shots to earn the win between the pipes.
 
Mount Greylock (7-1) travels to face Pittsfield on Wednesday.
