Bowler's Hat Trick Leads Lenox into Regional Final

LENOX, Mass. – Donny Bowler had a hat trick Tuesday to lead the Lenox boys lacrosse team to an 11-3 win over St. Mary’s of Westfield in the Western Massachusetts Class C semi-finals.
 
Top-seeded Lenox (15-2) earned a third game this spring against McCann Tech – this time for a regional final – after the Hornets beat Monson, 12-5, in Tuesday’s other semi-final.
 
Against St. Mary’s, Lenox got a pair of goals apiece from Eddie Boyko, Luke Gamberoni and Arthur Schwartz.
 
Harper Jaehnig made six saves to earn the win in goal.
 
No time, date or location was announced on Tuesday for the championship game.
 
In the regular season, Lenox edged the Hornets by scores of 7-4 and 7-3.
