Chicopee Spoils McCann Tech Girls Lacrosse Debut

CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Chicopee girls lacrosse team Monday handed McCann Tech a 15-1 loss in the Hornets’ first ever varsity game.

 

Jassmyn Valego scored the first goal in the history of the McCann Tech program. Mackenzie Allen made nine saves in the loss.

 

“This is our first year and first game as a varsity program with limited experience of outdoor practices because of weather leading up to it, so we look forward to building from the experience,” McCann Tech coach Christian Chenail said.

 

The Hornets (0-1) head to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
