Central Girls Lax Gets OT Win over McCann Tech

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Anaya Colon scored seven goals Tuesday to lead the Springfield Central girls lacrosse team to a 9-8, overtime win over McCann Tech.

 

The Golden Eagles tied the game at the end of the fourth and converted a turnover early in the first overtime to get the win.

 

Gabby Wells-Vidal scored six goals for McCann Tech, which got a goal apiece from Taylor Ziemba and Natalie Tatro.

 

Zoe Kratz helped keep the Hornets in the game with a strong fourth quarter.

 

McCann Tech (7-5) travels to Lee on Thursday.
