CHESHIRE, Mass. – Emma Meczywor scored five goals and set up two more Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 13-2 win over Pittsfield.

Lauren Davis finished with four goals and three assists, and Jacinta Felix and Karyssa Charon each scored twice.

“Lauren Davis did a fantastic job moving the ball and providing fantastic passes on cuts,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly Meczywor said. “Karyssa Charon continues to do a wonderful job on winning draws, allowing us to move to offense quickly. Overall, a little sloppy but offensively and defensively we did our jobs to earn the win.”

Kennedy Whitely made three saves to earn the win in goal.

Hannah Kickery stopped 14 shots for Pittsfield, which got a goal apiece from Madeline Rawling and Ashley Smith.
