Whitley, Hurricanes Edge Lee

LEE, Mass. – Kennedy Whitley stopped eight shots Tuesday to backstop the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 10-8 win over Lee.
 
The Hurricanes pulled away in the second half after the teams went into the break knotted, 5-5.
 
Ashlyn Lesure and Lauren Davis each had a hat trick, and Emmz Meczywor scored twice to lead the Hoosac Valley offense.
 
Annette Boyko and Bri Kelly each scored three times for the Wildcats, who got 10 saves from Sierra Beckman.
 
Lee (7-4) hosts Monson on Thursday.
 
Hoosac Valley (10-1) hosts Hampshire on Thursday.
