DALTON, Mass. -- The Wahconah girls lacrosse team scored six straight second-half goals to overcome a 6-3 deficit en route to an 11-8 win over Brattleboro, Vt., on Thursday.

“Katie Bachli came out of her goal and made a great interception that seemed to fuel the team,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “From there we were patient and crisp. Great way for the girls to hang tough.”

Emmy Cote scored five goals and added two assists to lead the offense. Jordan Budaj had a hat trick, and Lily Howes scored twice. Bachli made six saves to earn the win in goal.

Wahconah (4-1) goes to Belchertown on Friday.
