Granby Girls Lacrosse Tops Wahconah

GRANBY, Mass. -- Claire Naef and Emily O'Neil each scored three goals for the Wahconah girls lacrosse team in a 20-12 loss to Granby on Monday.

 

"We fell behind early and battled back to tie it up in the second half," Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. "Unfortunately, we did not do a good job of possessing the ball and turnovers turned into goals for them. We were very inconsistent today."

 

Ava Massaro and Eva Eberwein each scored twice, and Phalyn Renderer made 11 saves in the loss.

 

Wahconah (3-2) hosts Chicopee Comp on Wednesday.
