Hamp Girls Lax Downs Wahconah

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Northampton girls lacrosse team Monday outscored Wahconah, 6-1, in the second quarter en route to a 15-6 win.

 

Olivia Roberts had a hat trick, and Danielle Hagmaier scored a pair of goals for Wahconah, which got a goal and an assist from Ava Masssaro.

 

“We played great in the first and fourth quarters,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “We had some let downs during the second and third. Overall continued improvement and seeing some really positive results. The girls never quit.”

 

Phalyn Renderer stopped nine shots in Wahconah’s goal.

 

Wahconah (0-14) hosts Belchertown on Tuesday.
