Wahconah Finishes with Fourth Straight Win

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Ava Massaro had three goals and three assists Thursday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 10-7 win over Chicopee, its fourth straight win to end the season.
 
“Great game on a hot day, the girls came to play and our transition was fantastic,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “It was nice to see everyone get a chance to be a part of the victory. Our offensive passing game continued to grow with five assists.”
 
Danielle Hagmaier had two goals and two assists, and Chloe DiFazio scored a pair of goals.
 
Phalyn Renderer had nine saves in goal for Wahconah (4-15).
