Polumbo, Mounties Down South Hadley

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Sarah Polumbo scored 11 goals Wednesday as the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team defeated South Hadley, 18-7.
 
Polumbo increased her team-leading goal total for the season to 43, and the Mounties (6-2) completed a season sweep of the Tigers.
 
In the season opener, Mount Greylock pulled out a one-goal win at South Hadley.
 
On Wednesday, Ainsley Abel scored five goals and assisted on two more, and Zoe Armet and Lucy McWeeny each scored a goal.
 
Eigth-grader Tiegan Brady stopped two shots to earn the win in goal.
 
Mount Greylock Friday hosts Granby.
