Mount Greylock Goalie Hits Milestone in Sunday Loss
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team dropped an 11-5 decision to Burr & Burton but celebrated a couple of milestones on Sunday afternoon.
Mounties keeper Teigan Brady made five saves, including the 300th of her high school career, in the loss.
And Molly Cangelosi picked up her 100th career point on a day when she recorded a hat trick.
Avery Wied and Megan Lagerwall had the other two goals for the Mounties, who slipped to 5-9 with the loss.
Piper Morgan led the Vermonters with eight goals in the win.
Mount Greylock finishes the regular season with games at Westfield on Monday and at Northampton on Tuesday.
