Pittsfield Wins at Springfield Central
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Lily Ferris scored five goals, and Ella Kroboth added four as the Pittsfield girls lacrosse team beat Springfield Central, 12-5, on Tuesday.
Addie LaFerriere finished with two goals and an assist for the Generals, who excelled in the transition game, according to coach Molly West.
Pittsfield also got another solid performance in goal from LaNiyah Gregory, who stopped eight shots.
“LaNiyah was stellar in the goal today and Adriana [Soasti] and Asia [Smith-Moody] anchored the defense and caused several key turnovers which led to goals,” West said. “We will continue to work on the 'little things' to get better every game and our upperclassmen have set an amazing tone for growth, teamwork and trust.”
Pittsfield (6-2) is at Lee on Thursday.
