Drury Softball Downs Lee

LEE, Mass. – Sloan Brothers went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles Thursday to lead the Drury softball team to a 17-7 win at Lee.

 

Brothers drove in five runs in a 15-hit attack for the Blue Devils.

 

Jayda Klein went 4-for-5. Maria Fachini went 2-for-4 with a triple and a double, and Vivian Vareschi went 2-for-3 with a double.

 

Evelyn Richardson earned the win in the circle with a complete-game effort, striking out five and allowing five earned runs.

 

Kayla Clark led the Lee offense, going 4-for-5. Lexi Ciavola was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.

 

Lee (0-2) hosts Mohawk Trail on Monday.

 

Drury (2-2) hosts McCann Tech on Monday.
