Lee Softball Outslugs Gateway

HUNTINGTON, Mass. – Alison Scheurer went 4-for-6 with a double and nine RBIs Wednesday to lead the Lee softball team to a 25-22 win over Gateway Regional.

 

Maddie Blair was 4-for-5 with a double and three runs batted in in a 21-hit attack for the Wildcats.

 

Hailey Hankey finished 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, and Lauren Scheurer was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

 

Kayla Clark went the distance in the circle, striking out seven and allowing six earned runs.

 

Lee (1-3) goes to Pioneer Valley on Friday.
