Lee Softball Team Tops McCann Tech

LEE, Mass. -- Courtney Picard went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs to lead the Lee softball team to an 8-3 win over McCann Tech on Friday afternoon.

Kendra Williams went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs at the plate and struck out five while allowing just one earned run in the circle.

Cheyanne Alcombright went 2-for-3 with a run scored for McCann Tech (2-1), which travels to play Pope Francis on Monday.

Lee (2-1) hosts Commerce on Wednesday.
