Bishop Powers Blue Devils Past Ludlow

LUDLOW, Mass. – Brooke Bishop went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run Thursday to lead the Drury softball team to a 4-3 win over Ludlow.

 

The Blue Devils took the lead with a two-run third inning.

 

Ariana Rivard got things started with a one-out single, and Bishop followed with a round-tripper to make it 3-2.

 

In the fifth, Maddie Saunders hit a leadoff single and scored.

 

Rivard finished the game 2-for-4 at the plate. Rachael Barrows drove in a run.

 

Olivia Perry went the distance in the circle, striking out 11 and walking just one.

 

Drury (4-0) hosts McCann Tech on Monday.
