Saunders Leads Drury Past Springfield Central

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Maddie Saunders went 2-for-3 with a pair of triples and two RBIs Saturday to lead the Drury softball team to a 16-2 win over Springfield Central.

 

Olivia Perry went 3-for-4 with a double, and Brooke Bishop was 3-for-4 with three RBIs as the Blue Devils pounded out 13 hits and ended the game in six innings.

 

Perry went the distance in the circle, striking out nine while allowing five hits and a pair of walks.

 

Drury (11-0) hosts Ludlow on Monday.
