McCann Tech Softball Shuts Out Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Paige Rochelo went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 23-0 win at Mount Everett.

 

Aiden Champney went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and Shaylee Lawson doubled and drove in a pair of runs. Maggie Worle and Avery Lane each had a pair of hits in a 12-hit attack for the Hornets.

 

Emma LeMire and Gabby Driscoll split time in the circle for McCann Tech, combining to strike out four in the five-inning win.

 

Senior Stella Lennex went 1-for-3 in a three-hit afternoon for the Eagles on Senior Day.

 

Mount Everett (2-8) goes to North Adams on Thursday for a double-header against Drury.

 

McCann Tech (7-3) goes to Chicopee on Thursday.
