McCann Tech Rolls Over Renaissance

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Ryleigh Rathbun went 3-for-3 with three doubles, and three different McCann Tech pitchers Thursday combined on a five-inning shutout as the Hornets earned a 14-0 softball win over Springfield Renaissance.

 

Rathbun drove in three runs in a 12-hit attack for the Hornets.

 

Gabby Driscoll went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs,and Nora Kondel and Aiden Champney each provided a pair of hits. Shaylee Lawson tripled and drove in two runs.

 

Emma LeMire, Avery Lane and Driscoll split time in the circle, striking out 10 and walking just one without allowing a hit.

 

McCann Tech (12-1) is at Smith Vocational on Friday.
