Southwick Softball Blanks McCann Tech
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Southwick’s Sarah Hough homered and struck out 14 to lead the Rams to an 8-0 win over McCann Tech on Monday.
“We saw some improvement from the last game,” McCann Tech coach Robin Finnegan said. “Hannah [Tatro] pitched a nice game. Unfortunately, we have not seen live pitching, so with each game we will get more experience. Southwick’s pitcher was very good and kept us off balance.”
Tatro struck out nine and walked just one for the Hornets.
McCann Tech (0-2) hosts Springfield Central on Thursday.
