Paronto Delivers Game-Winning HR for Thunder

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Rylee Paronto hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to give the Taconic softball team the lead for good in a 4-3 win over Greenfield on Wednesday.

 

Paronto drove in Brenna McNeice, who reached base with a one-out double.

 

McNeice also had a sacrifice fly and a sacrifice bunt in the game.

 

Leena Schettini was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Ella Stodden went 1-for-4 and scored a run. 

 

Chey Goddard and Paronto split time in the circle, combining for six strikeouts.

 

The Thunder (11-6) finishes the regular season on Thursday at home against Turners Falls.
