Taconic's Keegan Blanks Drury

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ashley Keegan surrendered just two hits on Thursday at the Doyle Softball Complex to lead Taconic to a 6-0 win over Drury.
 
The Taconic ace struck out seven and walked one to improve to 3-1 this spring.
 
Maya Howland got one of those hits for the Blue Devils and pitched well in the loss.
 
“Maya Howland pitched a solid game for us -- striking out four and walking none,” Drury coach Morgan Shafer said.
 
Just two of Howland’s runs were earned.
 
Anna Dix had the other hit for Drury.
 
Taconic got hits from Aubrey Lazits, Kailey Bell and Keegan.
 
Taconic goes to Holyoke on Monday.
 
Drury goes to Hoosac Valley on Saturday afternoon.
