Taconic Softball Falls at Greenfield

GREENFIELD, Mass. – Amber Bergeron went 3-for-4 with a triple Friday to lead the Greenfield softball team to a 12-2 win over Taconic.

 

The Green Wave scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to open up a 10-run lead.

 

Julia Pierce doubled in a run, and Leena Schettini and Brenna McNeice each singled and scored for the Thunder.

 

Rylee Paronto and Cheyann Goddard split time in the circle for Taconic.

 

The Thunder (6-2) are scheduled to host Turners Falls on Saturday afternoon.
