Hurricanes Blow Past Chicopee Comp

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Genevieve Lagess went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs Wednesday as the Hoosac Valley softball team beat Chicopee Comprehensive, 29-8.

 

Rachel Wnuk was 3-for-4 with a triple, and Izabela Tart went 3-for-4 with a double in a 16-hit Hoosac Valley attack.

 

Gracelyn Wright struck out seven and walked three in the complete-game, five-inning win in the circle.

 

Hoosac Valley (2-0) hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.
