Hurricanes Win at Hopkins Academy

HADLEY, Mass. – Ella Bissaillon went 2-for-3 with two RBIs on Saturday as the Hoosac Valley softball team beat Hopkins Academy, 11-7.

 

Hannah Lord was 2-for-2 at the plate, and Izabela Tart and Kendall Moran each doubled in a 12-hit Hurricane attack.

 

Hoosac Valley jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the top of the second, when Gracelyn Wright singled to center field to drive in a pair of runs.

 

Wright went the distance in the circle, allowing just two earned runs and striking out two.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-0) hosts Wahconah on Monday.
