Tart Leads Hurricanes to Win in Regular Season Finale

GREENFIELD, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-3 with a home run and a double Sunday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 10-1 win over Greenfield in the Hurricanes’ regular season finale.

 

Tart drove in three runs in the win.

 

Gracelyn Wright went 2-for-4 with a double, and Genevieve Lagess and Rachael Wnuk each had a pair of hits in a 14-hit Hurricane attack.

 

Wright went the distance in the circle, striking out seven, walking none and scattering four hits.

 

Hoosac Valley (16-0) is home on Monday in the Western Massachusetts Class D Quarter-Finals against Palmer.
