Mount Greylock Softball Outslugs Drury
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Evy Clairmont went 2-for-4 with a triple and a pair of RBIs Monday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to a 19-9 win over Drury in the regular season finale for both teams.
Kaleight Jaros was 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and Kelsey MacHaffie went 2-for-5 with a double and four runs batted in in a 13-hit attack for Mount Greylock.
Jaros, Malia Koffi and Kyleigh Cooper split time in the circle for the Mounties, combining to strike out six.
Olivia Perry went the distance in the circle for Drury, striking out 14 and allowing 10 earned runs.
The Blue Devils (10-10) and Mounties (6-14) learn Wednesday who they will face in the first round of the Division 5 State Tournament.
