Franklin Tech Knocks Out Mount Greylock in Softball Tournament

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. – Lindsey Taylor went 4-for-5 Saturday to lead the Franklin Tech softball team to a 15-7 win over Mount Greylock in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.

 

Bayleigh Tatro was 3-for-4 with a pair of runs batted in for Mount Greylock, which got doubles from Kimora Melanson and Audrianna Pelkey.

 

Kaleigh Jaros went the distance in the circle for Mount Greylock, striking out four and allowing seven earned runs.

 

The Mounties (6-11) wait to hear who their next opponent will be in the tournament’s consolation round.
