South Hadley Softball Tops Pittsfield

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Ella Schaeffer struck out 15 on Wednesday to lead the South Hadley softball team to a 6-3 win over Pittsfield in the Western Massachusetts Class B Quarter-Finals.

 

Ava Rachiele tripled, and Mia Dejesus doubled and drove in a run for the Generals.

 

Gionnah Levardi struck out seven in a complete-game effort in the circle for Pittsfield.

 

The Generals will finish their regular season against an opponent to be determined.

 

No. 3 South Hadley moves on to the regional semi-finals against Frontier, an 8-3 winner over Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
